§ The Solicitor-GeneralI beg to move Amendment No. 13, in page 15, line 32, leave out '1st March' and insert '12th April'.
It would be proper and convenient for the Bill to come into operation, not on last Monday, but on 12th April, a 1859 suitable number of days after the Royal Assent can have been obtained. I am sure that the Committee will agree that this is a sensible and acceptable course.
