HC Deb 08 July 1971 vol 820 cc1516-7
Q3. Mr. Skinner

asked the Prime Minister how many letters he has received on subjects for which he is responsible since 18th June, 1971.

The Prime Minister

About 3,500, Sir.

Mr. Skinner

Is the Prime Minister aware that that figure is slightly less than the number of people who at this moment are exercising their responsibility in Greenwich? Does he realise that if he goes on television tonight, with the usual collusion of the B.B.C. before the poll closes, and pours out another load of Common Market rubbish, the electors of Greenwich will be voting to the tune of more than 70 per cent. in favour of the anti-Common Market Labour candidate?

The Prime Minister

I do not think that that supplementary question has any relevance to the Question on the Order Paper.
