Queen's Recommendation having been signified—
§
Resolved,
That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision as respects the Supreme Court and county courts, judges and juries and to establish a Crown Court as part of the Supreme Court it is expedient to authorise—
- (a) any payments out of money provided by Parliament attributable to provisions of the said Act about—
- (i) the said Crown Court;
- (ii) staff for the Supreme Court (including the Crown Court) and county courts;
- (iii) accommodation for, and for judges of, the Supreme Court and county courts;
- (iv) juries;
- (v) compensation for loss of employment or loss or diminution of emoluments;
- (vi) the payment out of central funds of costs in criminal and other proceedings;
- (b) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund, or out of money provided by Parliament, of salaries and other payments in respect of service in any judicial office created by the said Act, or in respect of temporary service as a High Court judge, or in any other judicial office;
- (c) any increase in payments out of the Consolidated Fund, or out of money provided by Parliament, under any enactment, other than the said Act of the present session, or for any other existing services, being an increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session;
- (d) any payment into the Consolidated Fund.—[The Attorney-General.]
