§ Mr. EdwardsMay I take this opportunity of congratulating the Secretary of State on setting up the Welsh National Water Authority, which has been widely welcomed? Will the authority have an opportunity to revise charges for existing water installations?
§ Mr. Peter ThomasThere are wide variations in the charges imposed for water and sewerage services in Wales. Clearly the authority will want to work towards an equalisation of charges so that there is fairness between similar categories of customer.
