§ Mr. RedmondDoes my right hon. Friend recognise that the country is getting into a fearful muddle about this White Paper? All sorts of things have happened since the previous Government set up the Metrication Board, which has been showing nothing but arrogance and forcing metrication down people's throats. Cannot the present Government do something to bring some sense into the situation and not force metrication upon us?
§ Mr. DaviesI am very conscious of the country's anxiety, very ably expressed by my hon. Friend, to have clarification. I hope not to disappoint people when it comes.
