Heffer, Mr. Charles Morrison, Mr. Airey Neave, Mr. John Pardoe, Mr. Reg Prentice, Mr. William Price, Mr. Merlyn Rees, Mr. Nicholas Scott, and Mr. John Silkin, presented a Bill to provide for a minimum annual holiday period for persons in employment; to provide for a minimum number of statutory annual holidays; to 459 specify Christmas Day and New Year's Day as annual holidays; to amend the National Insurance Act 1965 by enabling the Secretary of State to reduce the pensionable age under that Act for men and women; and for purposes connected therewith: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday, 18th February, and to be printed.
