§
Lords Amendment: No. 14, in page 31, line 45, at end insert—
(5A) The duties imposed by subsections (I) to (3) and (5) of this section in relation to aerodromes in Scotland shall be enforceable by order of the Court of Session on an application by or on behalf of the Secretary of State under section 91 of the Court of Session Act 1868.
§ Mr. NobleI beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment.
This is a rather technical Amendment to bring the remedies available in Scotland for the enforcement of the duties under this Clause roughly into line with those available in England and Wales.

§ Lords Amendment: No. 15, in page 33, line 13, leave out from "which" to "is" in line 15.
§ Mr. NobleI beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment.
This permits the powers of Clause 29 to be invoked in respect of any aerodrome. This is something which many 1512 hon. Members asked me to do. I had and still have some reservations as to how much we shall be able to do, but it meets the wishes of many hon. Members in this House and in the other place.
§ Mr. MillanI welcome this Amendment which gives an additional flexibility to the Clause and does not exclude private aerodromes. This is the right step to take and I know that hon. Gentlemen on both sides who have these noise problems will very much welcome the Amendment.
§ Mr. Cranley Onslow (Woking)These are all very good Amendments but this is a particularly sensible one and on behalf of my hon. Friend the Member for Chertsey (Mr. Grylls) and myself I would like that to be recorded.
