Motion made, and Question,
That as from 13th April, 1971 the definition of "bingo" in section 3(10) of the Finance Act 1969 shall be amended by omitting there-from the words "except a version whose rules permit a player to withdraw any part of his initial stake after the game has begun".
And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution should have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act 1968.—[Mr. Barber.]
