§ Mr. Garrett, supported by Mr. Albert Roberts, Mr. Ray Mawby, Mr. Arthur Blenkinsop, Mr. Mark Woodnutt, Mr. Julius Silverman and Mr. Marcus Fox, presented a Bill to prohibit the display on certain vehicles of signs or notices containing the word 'taxi' or 'cab' and signs or notices of certain other descriptions; and to restrict the issue, in connection with certain vehicles, of advertisements containing either of those words: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday, 23rd April and to be printed.
