Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the payment of a new benefit for certain families with small incomes, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any benefit under the Act;
  2. (b) any expenses of the Secretary of State attributable to the Act; and
  3. (c) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable under any other enactment out of moneys so provided.—[Mr. Patrick Jenkin.]
