Lords Amendment: No. 35, in page 9, line 39, at end insert: () In the application of this section to Scotland for any reference to a local education authority there shall be substituted a reference to an education authority within the meaning of section 145 of the Education (Scotland) Act 1962.

I beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment.

I suggest that with this Amendment we take also Amendment No. 36.

Mr. Morris

The Amendment extends to Scotland the application of the Bill. I agree with what my hon. Friend said. We must accept that potentially each of us is a disabled person, and this subject affects us all personally.
