I beg to move Amendment No. 28, in page 10, line 37, after any,', insert ' purported '.

This is a drafting Amendment. As at present worded, Clause 10(4)(b) refers to any variation of a standard condition, but strictly speaking, we cannot have any alteration of a non-variable condition because it would not be a true variation. It can only be a purported variation.

The Amendment spells this out. Again, this was a point brought forward by the Scottish Law Commission.
