(7) This section applies to a person left behind on being discharged in pursuance of section 6 of this Act, whether or not at the time he is left behind the ship is still registered in the United Kingdom.There was considerable discussion of this matter in Committee on Clause 63. I gave certain undertakings and I think the terms of this Amendment will make our intentions clear to everybody's satisfaction.
