Would not it be sensible to try to employ the 93,000 out-of-work building operatives in picking 1,000 million bricks off the floor and building a few more houses with them?
§ Mr. AmeryWe hope to get back to the situation which prevailed in 1964, when average monthly stocks were only 115 million. I am grateful to my hon. Friend for drawing this to my attention.
