Sir, I am directed by the Chief Metropolitan Stipendiary Magistrate, Sir Frank Milton, to inform you that William James Owen, Member of Parliament for Morpeth, concerning whom I wrote to you on 15th January, has today again appeared before this Court and in respect of the charge under Section 1(i)(c) of the Official Secrets Act, 1911, has been remanded in custody until 27th January.As I understand that the House reassembles at 2.30 today, I am delivering this letter to Commander Wilson so that it may be delivered by hand.
