asked the Minister of Public Building and Works when the new restaurant will he opened to the public in St. James's Park.

On Monday week, 23rd February. I am pleased to be able to tell the House that the opening ceremony will be performed by Mrs. Harold Wilson.

May I congratulate the Ministry on two counts? Doubtless the Prime Minister's wife will celebrate this. The first count is that at last the Ministry has managed both to begin and to finish one small building. The second count concerns the pleasing aspect of the new restaurant. I hope that the identity of the architect will be made known. It is a very pleasant building, and some very welcome amenities will become available when it is opened.

I am not too sure about the hon. Gentleman's first congratulation. However, if he cares to go along, it will be one of those occasions when he can have his cake and eat it.
