Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the establishment of a National Radiological Protection Board and an Advisory Committee, with functions concerning the protection of people from radiation hazards, and for connected purposes, it is expedient to authorize—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of such sums as may be necessary to defray expenses incurred by the National Radiological Protection Board with the approval of the Secretary of State, so far as those expenses exceed any receipts derived from the exercise of the Board's functions and are not met from other sources;
  2. (b) the payment into the Consolidated Fund of the whole or any part of any moneys received by the Board in any financial year.—[Dr. John Dun woody.]
