§ Mr. CrossmanControlled development is proceeding in a number of selected centres. A special laboratory service has been set up to collate and disseminate tissue typing data for the use of renal transplantation centres.
§ Mr. LaneQuite apart from the question of changes in legislation, could not the Government put more urgency into the possibility of developing a central organisation, based on a computer, with the tissue types of potential recipients and a start on a register of people who wanted to contract in or contract out as potential donors?
§ Mr. CrossmanI will certainly consider that possibility, but meanwhile we are concerned with the narrower issue to which I have alluded.
