Motion made, and Question, That pursuant to section 5 of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act 1968 provisional statutory effect shall be given to the following Motions—

  1. (a) Alteration of general betting duty and repeal of betting premises licence duty (motion No. 2);
  2. (b) Income tax (charge and rates for 1970–71) (motion No. 9);
  3. (c) Income tax (surtax rates for 1969–70) (motion No. 10);
  4. (d) Income tax (alterations of personal reliefs) (motion No. 11).—[Mr. Roy Jenkins.]
