Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider the Procedure in the Public Business of the House; and to report what alterations, if any, are desirable for the more efficient despatch of such Business.

Ordered, That Mr. Austen Albu, Mr. Donald Chapman, Mr. Michael Hamilton, Mr. John P. Mackintosh, Mr. David Marquand, Mr. John Parker, Mr. James Ramsden, Mr. Turton, Dame Irene Ward and Mr. Woodburn be Members of the Committee.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers, and records.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to report from time to time.

Ordered, That Four be the Quorum of the Committee.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to appoint Sub-Committees and to refer to such Sub-Committees any of the matters referred to the Committee.

Ordered, That every such Sub-Committee have power to send for persons, papers, and records and to report to the Committee from time to time.

Ordered, That Three be the Quorum of every such Sub-Committee.
