Jackson, Mr. Eric Lubbock, Sir Harmar Nicholls, and Mr. Brian Walden, presented a Bill to amend the Representation of the People Acts so as to require the issue of the writ for the holding of a by-election within a specified period from the date of vacation of the seat: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday, 6th February, and to be printed.
