Varley presented a Bill to restrict the power of the Minister of Technology to make grants under section 5(1) of the Industrial Development Act 1966 and enable the Parliament of Northern Ireland to restrict by reference to certain matters, the power of the Ministry of Commerce for Northern Ireland to make grants under section 6(1) of the Industrial Development (General Assistance) Act (Northern Ireland) 1966: And the same was read the First time; to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed.
