I beg to move Amendment No. 26, in page 53, line 20, leave out 'Treasury' and insert: 'Minister for the Civil Service.' The House knows that on 1st November, 1968, responsibility for staff matters, including remuneration, passed from the Treasury to the Minister for the Civil Service. This Amendment merely takes account of the transfer of function.
