HC Deb 09 June 1969 vol 784 c1147
Mr. Callaghan

I beg to move Amendment No. 70, in page 19, line 39, at end insert: 'any person who has ceased to be the supervisor by virtue of the order; and (c) to any local authority who is not entitled by virtue of the preceding paragraph to such a copy and whose area is named in the supervision order in pursuance of the preceding subsection or has ceased to be so named by virtue of the court's order;'. The purpose of the Amendment is simple. It increases the number of persons entitled to be notified when an order is changed. The history of the Amendment is interesting. It was put down by my hon. Friend the Member for Rowley Regis and Tipton (Mr. Archer), moved by the hon. Member for Runcorn (Mr. Carlisle) and undertaken by me in Committee to be considered. That combination is irresistible.

Amendment agreed to.
