Lords Amendment No. 36: In page 54, line 27, leave out from "mail-bags" to end of line 29 and insert: whrich, when in the United Kingdom, are in the charge of the Post Office ".

I think that it would be convenient to consider with it Lords Amendment No. 37, in Clause 67, page 55, line 26, leave out from "mail-bags" to end of line 28 and insert: which, when in the United Kingdom, are in the charge of the Post Office ".

Mr. Slater

The Amendments are the result of a suggestion for improving the drafting of the Clauses made to the Gov- ernment by the Chairman of the Port of London Authority.
