§ 43. Mr. Leadbitterasked the Postmaster-General what representations he has received regarding separate licences for communal aerials; and what reply he has given.
§ Mr. StonehouseFrom the Association of Municipal Corporations and the Rural District Councils' Association. I have undertaken to consult with them.
§ Mr. LeadbitterI thank my right hon. Friend for indicating that he is prepared to consult them, but, before he carries out these consultations, will he bear in mind that there are serious objections in the country? Could he have the cause of the objections worked out in such a way that, when he meets the authorities, he may have some proposals to resolve the extent of the objections which hon. Members have been receiving?
§ Mr. StonehouseI will consider that very helpful suggestion.
