HC Deb 17 October 1968 vol 770 c583
Sir D. Renton

On a point of order. As the next Question on the Order Paper is based on an all-party Motion which has the support of the majority of Members, will the Prime Minister, in deference to the wishes of the majority, be so good as to answer this Question now?

The Prime Minister

I am not sure whether that is a point of order. I do not think that it is incumbent upon me to do this after 3.30 p.m., and since my answer was going to refer the right hon. and learned Gentleman to the reply I gave to a supplementary question by him on 25th June I am not sure that it would carry us much further.
