§ Mr. Peter WalkerOn a point of order, Mr. Speaker. I believe that the Government have in their possession the Report of the Prices and Incomes Board on Railway Fares and Freight Charges. This is due to be published on Thursday, but in view of the vital importance of this document and of the Government's attitude to it and to Parts I, II and TV of the Transport Bill, may I ask whether copies will be made immediately available to hon. Members, or whether, alternatively, discussions on the Report stage of the Bill will be deferred until the Report is published?
§ Mr. SpeakerWith respect to the hon. Gentleman, he knows that that is not a point for the Chair. It is a point that he must take up with the Ministers concerned.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterI accept your Ruling, Sir, but, following that point, is this not a matter on which it is the duty of the Leader of the House to help the House, if it is true, as my hon. Friend says, that the document is now ready but is being withheld until Thursday, and is highly material to the debate on which the House is about to embark? May I, through you, appeal to the Leader of the House to help us in this matter?
§ Mr. SpeakerThat is still not a point for Mr. Speaker.
