§ 29. Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in the light of circumstances surrounding the dispute between Mr. J. D. Caldwell of Weymouth and the Sussex Police and the statement made by police officers to Mr. Caldwell's lawyers, particulars of which have been sent to him, he will authorise the payment to Mr. Caldwell of appropriate compensation.
