§ 48. Mr. Alexander W. Lyonasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will reconsider the punishment awarded to a civilian official of his Department, Mr. W. G. § Mr. BoydenSince I last wrote to my hon. Friend, I have learnt that Mr. Johnson admitted that his action was wrong and apologised. This makes it possible to take a more lenient view, and the financial punishment will now be remitted. The reprimand must stand.
