23. Mr. Alasdair Mackenzie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give directions to have the 1967 Hill Sheep Subsidy paid now.

Mr. Buchan

Payment of Hill Sheep Subsidy on sheep in flocks at 4th December, 1967, started on 20th February. To date some 8,700 claims involving over £1,750,000 have been paid.
