asked the Postmaster-General what is the estimated capital cost of the new postal arrangements in the autumn; and what is the estimated increased annual cost.

Mr. Stonehouse

I do not expect any increase in net costs.

Dame Irene Ward

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that I am absolutely fed up with the re-organisation, that we pay more and more and get less and less?

Mr. Stonehouse

That is quite untrue. The service of the Post Office is being improved considerably as a result of the new equipment which we are introducing.
