18. Mr. Fortescue

asked the President of the Board of Trade what is the latest position regarding the negotiations over compensation payments to British European Airways for not being permitted to order aircraft of their choice.

26. Mr. McMaster

asked the President of the Board of Trade when he expects that British European Airways will place their order for 26 Trident 3B aircraft; and when the aircraft is expected to be in service.

42. Mr. Robert Howarth

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the negotiations between British European Airways, Hawker Siddeley and his Department regarding the provision of financial support for the ordering and operation of the Trident 3B aircraft have been completed; and if he will make a statement.
