§ Mr. Dudley SmithDoes not the hon. Gentleman think that it is vital that this information should be available when we are dealing with the whole question of wages and salary negotiations? Will he please look at this again, because how can he expect the prices and incomes policy to succeed without the fullest possible information over the widest possible area?
§ Mr. WalkerWe are seeking to extend the area of information available. To this end, we are instituting a new sample survey in September of this year which will yield additional information.
