Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the National Health Service Act, 1946 and the National Health Service (Scotland) Act, 1947 and make other amendments connected with the National Health Service and for other purposes, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenditure incurred by the Minister of Health or the Secretary of State in the exercise of any power conferred by the said Act of the present Session to make payments to persons or bodies with whom arrangements are made for the provision of instruction in connection with certain health and welfare services, and to persons availing themselves of such instruction.—[Mr. K.
