§ 27. Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will now introduce legislation to give him that degree of overall control over the appointment and dismissal of staff in institutions of further education which he already has over such action in the schools.
§ Mr. Edward ShortThis is one of the matters which I intend to review in due course in connection with my proposed Education Bill. Among other things, there are relevant recommendations in the report of the Royal Commission on Trade Unions and Employers' Associations.
