Measures were taken at the last Annual Review to provide further encouragement to cattle, sheep and pig production, and the position will be subject to a further detailed examination at the forthcoming Annual Review. The Meat and Livestock Commission will be particularly concerned with measures to improve the industry's efficiency in production and marketing.
