HC Deb 21 November 1967 vol 754 cc1138-9
Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. Yesterday, I put down Written Question No. 3 to the Foreign Secretary regarding a 47 per cent. increase in Swiss imports from Rhodesia. The Answer to this Question appears to have been carried in the Financial Times this morning, but it did not appear in HANSARD. I would like your guidance as to how this can be corrected.

Mr. Speaker

It is not a matter for the Chair. The hon. Gentleman must take it up with the Minister concerned.

The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. George Brown)

Further to that point of order, Mr. Speaker. I did not know until three minutes ago that the hon. Gentleman intended to raise this matter, and then I was not informed by his courtesy. I make it clear that my Department slipped up yesterday and I apologise.

The Answer will appear in today's HANSARD and I will take all the steps I can to ensure that this sort of mistake does not happen again.
