4. Mr. Hamling

asked the Minister of Labour what proposals he will make to deal with anomalies arising from the introduction of decasualisation in the docks industry; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Gunter

Any such anomalies would be primarily for the Dock Labour Board or the industry's joint negotiating machinery.

Mr. Hamling

Would my right hon. Friend agree that at all times he is very willing to assist both sides to overcome any of these anomalies?

Mr. Gunter
