HC Deb 09 May 1967 vol 746 c1248

Standing Order 242, line 20, at end add 'but only if objection to locus standi or such rights has been made in a memorial duly deposited as aforesaid'.

This Amendment is designed to meet certain misgivings felt by Members of all parties on both sides of the House. It simplifies the procedure for bodies such as amenity societies to petition against Special Procedural Orders. It will bring the procedure on such Orders into line with the practice on Private Bills, and I commend it to the House.

Hon. Members
