§ Mr. WellsWill the Home Office take reasonable steps to see that the Metropolitan Police conform to the standard of good conduct of the adjacent counties of London where these county councils and county police forces are doing all that they can to help these travellers in resettlement? Will he ensure that adequate provision is made within the Metropolitan Police area?
§ Mr. TaverneWe will see that adequate provision is made in the Metropolitan Police area. I am not sure what particular instance the hon. Member has in mind.
