§ 2. Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales what action he intends to take to implement the recommendation in the Clayton Report that passenger, parcel and mail services in the Lampeter area of Cardiganshire should be integrated.
§ The Minister of State, Welsh Office (Mrs. Eirene White)The working group of the Passenger Transport Coordinating Committee for Wales is studying this at present and is seeking to devise a scheme which will be discussed with the interested parties in the area.
§ Mr. MorganWhen is this working group expected to report? Second, are similar research groups to be set up for other parts of Cardiganshire and for Mid-Wales?
§ Mrs. WhiteI understand that the report will take another month or two at least, as various interests have to be consulted. The question of other studies as suggested by my hon. Friend would be a matter for the Passenger Transport Co-ordinating Committee to decide.
