Langford-HoltMr. Speaker, I desire to present a Petition signed by more than 3,000 of my constituents asking this House to order an urgent review of the train services between my constituency of Shrewsbury and London. They make this request because the train feeder services between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton are both overcrowded and frequently miss the connection, because old carriages are used which travel at 70 miles an hour and have a 70 miles an hour speed limit, and for many other reasons, including one which will probably appeal to the House, and that is that the whole of the Mid-Wales area is cut off by the curtailment of these services.
I am no ostrich in these matters, but from my experience I can vouch for the—
