Lords Amendment: No. 111, in page 48, line 43, leave out from "into" to "to" in line 45 and insert:
his means and the Commission shall comply with the request and report on his means".

Perhaps it might be convenient if with that Amendment we discuss Amendment No. 112.
These Amendments relate to means inquiries by the Supplementary Benefits Commission in relation to legal aid contributions. The first Amendment is a purely drafting one and the second makes it clear that when a court receives such 890 a report after it has made a contribution order it must reconsider its decision.
