I beg to move Amendment No. 7, in page 3, line 31, at the end to add: and in paragraph 2(3) of that Schedule the reference to that Act included a reference to this Act. This is a drafting Amendment. Paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 1 to the Emergency Laws (Re-enactments and Repeals) Act, 1964, authorises the retention of documents taken under a magistrate's warrant for three months or, if proceedings are begun within that period for an offence under the Act to which they are relevant, until the end of the proceedings. All that the Amendment does is to adapt this provision so as to apply it to cases where proceedings are taken for offences under the Bill.
