Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make temporary provision for controlling the supply, acquisition and consumption of liquid fuel in the United Kingdom, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of —

  1. (a) any expenses incurred by any Government department (except the Postmaster-General) in consequence of the said Act of the present Session;
  2. (b) any increase attributable to the provisions of that Act in the sums payable out of moneys so provided under any other Act.—[Mr. Freeson.]
