Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any act of the present Session to make new provision for determining the remuneration of teachers in Scotland, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable out of moneys so provided under any enactment relating to local government in Scotland;
  2. (b) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable out of moneys so provided under any other enactment in respect of administrative expenses incurred by the Secretary of State;
  3. (c) any expenses of the Minister of Labour in pursuance of any provisions of the said Act of the present Session relating to arbitration.—[Mr. Millan.]
