Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of this Session to provide for the registration of persons engaged in giving instruction in the driving of motor vehicles, it is expedient to authorise— 1. The payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) administrative expenses incurred by the Minister of Transport in consequence of the provisions of the said Act, including any amount, directed by the said Minister to be treated as part of such expenses, of costs incurred by an appellant in connection with any appeal under that Act to the said Minister; and
  2. (b) fees and expenses payable under that Act to any person or persons to whom any such appeal is referred for inquiry and report, or payable to any assessors appointed under that Act to assist such person or persons.
2. The payment into the Exchequer of any sums received on account of fees payable by virtue of any provision of that Act.—[Mr. Swingler.]
