§ Mr. Joseph SlaterI am aware that there has been some congestion on the lines between London and Glasgow. We expect to provide 100 additional circuits on this route between now and March, which will augment the facilities by 14 per cent.
Mr. TaylorI am obliged to the hon. Gentleman for that Answer. Does he accept that a serious problem exists and that many telephone operators in Glasgow are in danger of becoming nervous wrecks as a result of constantly hearing a voice saying, "All lines to London are engaged, please try later"? Does he consider that 100 additional circuits will he enough and has he any further plans?
