HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 c585

Read a Second time and referred to the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills.

Mr. Ogden

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. When the Clerk read the title of the Brighton Marina Bill, I rose in my place and stated my objection. Unfortunately, the Clerk was not looking in my direction, Sir, and neither were you, so that the objection was not registered.

Mr. Speaker

I apologise to the hon. Gentleman. I did not hear his objection. I was not looking but I was listening. My hearing must have been defective. The hon. Gentleman need have no fear. The Second Reading has been deferred.
